1. Important notes on installation

It is essential that any variants in the vehicle’s body accessories should be ascertained before the mechanical anti-penetration system is fitted.
All angle irons and flat bars are marked with identification numbers on the parts.

2. Preparatory work

3. Install mechanical anti-penetration system
3.1 Front axle girder

The illustration shows installation on the lefthand side of the vehicle. Proceed in the same logical sequence on the right-hand side. Attach angle iron no. 44 with bolt (1) and nut (2) to the front axle girder (3). The bolt (1) and nut (2) may already be present depending on the vehicle body accessories.

3. Install mechanical anti-penetration system
3.2 Underbody panelling at the gearbox

Hold angle irons No. 42 against the underbody panelling (4) in accordance with measurement a = 32 mm and copy over bore holes (1).Take angle irons away and make drill holes (1) with a twist drill Ø 5.5 mm.
Fasten angle irons No. 42 to the underbody panelling (4) with hexagon bolts M5x12 (3) and nuts M5 (2).

Make drill holes (5) in accordance with measurements b to d with a twist drill Ø 5.5 mm on the underbody panelling (4).
Measurements:
b = 115 mm
c = 27 mm
d = 15 mm
Fasten flat bars No. 29 to the underbody panelling (4) with hexagon bolts M5x12 (3) and nuts M5 (2).

Make drill holes (1) and (2) in accordance with measurements a to d with a twist drill Ø 5.5 mm on the underbodypanelling (3).
Measurements:
a = 24 mm
b = 60 mm
c = 25 mm
d = 20 mm

Fasten angle iron No. 14 with hexagon bolt M5x12 (2) and nut M5 (1) to the underbody panelling (3).

Fasten angle iron No. 5 with hexagon bolt M5x12 (2) and nut M5 (1) to the underbody panelling (3).

Make drill hole (1) in accordance with measurements a to b with a twist drill Ø 5.5 mm on the underbody panelling (3).
Measurements:
a = 15 mm
b = 11 mm
Make drill holes (2) in accordance with measurements c to f with a twist drill Ø 5.5 mm on the underbody panelling (3).
Measurements:
c = 45 mm
d = 95 mm
e = 148 mm
f = 8 mm

Screw in partially angle iron No. 43 with hexagon bolt M5x12 (2) and nut M5 (1) to the underbody panelling (3) and rotate it until the measurement a = 8 mm is reached. Fasten angle iron No. 43. Fasten three angle irons No. 44 with hexagon bolts M5x12 (2) with nuts M5 (1) to the underbody panelling (3).

4. Finalising operations

When all operations have been completed, a chemical engine wash should be carried out in order to remove any existing territorial markings (scent) of martens.
