Installation time is approx. 1.5 hours, which can vary according to the conditions and equipment of the vehicle.

Lambskin seat covers are a natural product in which minute differences in colour may occur compared with the catalogue sample. These are due to the structure and fineness of the wool.

Pass on the care instructions and operation of the centre armrest with cup holders to the customer.

The lambskin cover for the centre armrest is available as an option.

Target Group:

Target group for these installation instructions is technical personnel trained on BMW passenger cars.

All maintenance, repair, installation and resetting work on passenger cars should be carried out on own authority.

All operations should be carried out with the aid of the current BMW

in a logical sequence using the prescribed tools (special tools) whilst observing the applicable health and safety regulations.

Safety instructions

Before installation, note the following instructions:

Tightening torques for screwed connections should be observed unconditionally. Please refer to the parts information system (TIS) for the required tightening torques.

Installation notes

BMW accepts no liability for damage which occurs as a result of not following the work sequence and safety instructions. In addition, any warranty claim against BMW AG is extinguished in the event of improper fitting and handling which diverges from the fitting and operating instructions.

The headrest holes, the apertures for the locking mechanisms and the supports for the partitioning net cannot be prefabricated as there is varying degree of elasticity in lambskin and in the material on the rear of the seat back . As a result it is not possible to guarantee an absolutely wrinkle-free seat.

The material which has been cut into on the rear of the seat back will not tear after the cut has been made.
